  1. Good morning!! Up and ready to take on the day. Excited for the last session of a Bible Study I’ve been doing with a good friend this summer. It’s called “Starved” by Amy Seiffert. She does a really good short video on YouTube, if you wanted to give her a listen. I highly recommend it, it’s been very helpful to me.

  2. Goooood morning! (That is my Mike Greenberg imitation, ESPN). How is everyone doing this morning? I’m doing ok, getting back into my routine. This morning I ate a bowl of Oatmeal with some Peanut Butter Kos. Coffee with SFHazelnut and Sucralose. And, I ordered 4 of the 24 packs of Coke Zero. I got my Coke Zero! Whooohooo!

      I had a few coke zero's this past week. They're actually tasty, with no bitter aftertaste like with some no-sugar drinks. I might get a few more cans:-))

  3. Good Morning! GI Doctor appointment went OKish yesterday. He wants me to lower my carb intake some more just when I thought I was doing well to keep it @ 30%. The trick will be getting enough calories & lowering saturated fat while cutting more carbs. SIGH! Currently taking ideas from Sherri. If anyone else has any suggestions, I’m all ears. Have a great day everyone!

    1. Im sorry you still have so much diet tweaking to do Linda. Low carb itself isnt too hard but low carb high enough calorie but lower in fat is. You will have to focus on lean proteins Im guessing. Look into things like chickpeas, cruciferous greens, fish, alternative flours like almond and coconut... thats all I have rn been up since 130am sorry lol!

    2. Best wishes on lowering your carb intake while getting enough nutrients Linda! I'm sorry, but, I can't offer any advice on that front. Thank goodness, Aella, Cel, and Sherri have insights to shate so we can all learn.

  4. Good morning everyone 😊 so glad to see y'all are staying busy missed you all I took a week to regroup myself. Linda I do Keto to help control seizures & I feel so much better since I went back to it. Energy is up digestive issues are all resolved. I go back for my next round of treatment end of next week so I will probably be missing off and on 💗 Linda I'm just heading out with my hubby for an appointment I'll come back tonight and get you some tips I use the app carb manager it's free and so helpful for tracking even for someone just going lower carb intake. Bean how have ya been miss ya like crazy and Rosie roo

  5. Well, the MyPlate App stopped functioning on my android phone this afternoon. It's now deleted from my phone. The chapter has closec. Who knows if there will be a sequel. :-)

    1. Director of social media department for a company. I create new content daily and upload it to the companies' various social media accounts. Create and send email campaigns.
      Answer customer support emails too.

  8. Cel & Aella, Thank you both for the advice! It as so cool to check back in to find some thoughts. I’m a big fan of chickpeas (although Julie seems like a bigger fan) and will look at the app. Been thinking of you both and sending wellness vibes to both of you!
    Saw that MyPlate community was shut down. Where are you working Julie? I think I missed the new job news. Hope it’s better than where you were! I miss Rosie too. Hopefully she’s popping in to read occasionally. She was having posting issues. Did those ever get resolved?

    1. Rosie can post comments on posts like all of the one's here. She couldn't comment on pages because her browser didn't like being rerouted to a page versus a post
      She hasn't responded to my last email. The last I heard from her, she was dealing with family issues.
      Hopefully, one day soon, she'll pop in here to say, "Hi".😁
