ReplyDeleteI'm checking in to report that aside from being exhausted, I am doing okay. I fell asleep around 4:30am, only to be awakened at 6 by a very loud alert on my phone for a tornado in the area. Thankfully it stayed to the east of my neighborhood and died out before causing harm to people, animals, or structures. Tornadoes will be possible until 3pm where I am.
The hurricane will be making landfall in about an hour. Please pray and send vibes of protection to all those in the direct path of hurricane Idalia.
I'm going to try to get some more sleep. I'm thankful that it's getting light out and that so far, I still have power, and conditions are not as bad as they could've been. Hoping for no more tornadoes and that flooding doesn't overtake my neighborhood.

Waking to a hazy sky once again from Canadian wildfires. Just can’t believe this has gone on ALL summer! But very grateful I’m not bracing for hurricanes and tornadoes. God be with you all🙏
