Good morning on this HOT HOT HUMID day! Can’t even see out of my windows! Wishing you all a day of good health, joy, and good deeds!
ReplyDeleteGood morning everyone! Happy to be home today. Work is like a war zone. Its just awful there. Youd think we were back in the midst of the pandemic again or a small natural disaster or something... full waiting room... full hallway beds... full rooms... all of us just running around. Im trying to pick up gloves just thrown on the floor in the hallways and stuff so no one slips on them. Its chaotic. Im driving home and 2 ambulances pass me within seconds to go to the hospital before I turn on the road to go to my town. We are just a small community hospital. We have turned our 22 bed ER into about 30 some odd beds with our hallway beds and then we have "RP" which is a room of chairs and we still cant see all the people without our waiting room being just slammed and packed.
ReplyDeleteBut this happens sometimes to us. We eventually see a lull. Unyil then we go a lil cooky!

DeleteUptick in COVID and just a lot of sick people and people coming in for mental health. All our inpatient beds are filled so we were holding 12 inpatient in the ED plus 6 psych at 7am thats 18 of our beds. We get nonstop ambulances. We serve about 12 towns/ambulance services and have people that come from 35-45 minutes away because they dont want to wait at the hospitals in the city.
DeletePCPs and urgent cares send us a lot of their patients as well.
Good morning everyone 😊 Bean your a warrior you always take worse days in stride 💗 Cindy I feel for you not sure how you can stand humid weather Im a cold weather snow bunny my body doesn't like heat. Thank you all for prayers and thoughts still level 3 this morning zero percent contained. Cindy we are in WA state several large fires all at once we had hot weather & wind just fueled them out of control The one by our homes is the Oregon Rd fire the other is called the gray fire. They have been on news quite a bit destroyed so many homes. Hoping for the best but grateful to all be together. Jam how have you been? Is work going well?

DeleteContinued prayers for all those affected by wildfires. The ones in Canada continue to cause devastation as well so our Canadian virtual Village members will also remain in my prayers.
